Mission Summary

Starbase Vanguard is once again under the control of Starfleet. For over two decades after the Dominion War it was in the hands of the Federation Civilian Defence Authority – who have not kept the Starbase in the best of conditions. The primary objective of the crew is getting the station back to full working order.

The order comes through to investigate Sector 345 in the Berelli System and the random attacks of Federation and Romulan convoys passing through the area. The system is composed of six planets; however only two are occupied. Of the two, one has warp drive capability but it is thought to be in the early stages of development. No sensor information has been retrieved from the attacks and there are no Starships in the area to investigate. The USS Indefatigable is dispatched to investigate.
