Personal History Born in 2353, Brooklyn grew up on Lunar One Colony, where her father served as the Colony's Director and her mother served as a lawyer. Politics was often a nightly discussion but unlike her parents and siblings, Brooklyn didn't care for politics. This caused her to rebel and get into trouble with the law, despite having good grades in school.

In 2370, at the age of 17, she graduated from Lunar One High School and against her parent's wishes, was accepted into Starfleet Marine Academy, enrolling into the Flight Program. In 2374, Brooklyn was assigned to the 134th Fighter Squadron, where she saw multiple engagements during the Dominion War. In 2375, she was shot down and captured by the Breen, enduring several interrogations. She remained a POW for six months, until the end of the war, where she was given a year of leave in order to recuperate.

She decided to remain in the Marine Corps and was assigned as a flight instructor at the Marine Academy due to her combat experience. In 2379, she was assigned as a Squadron CO for the 155th Fighter Squadron until 2383, when she was assigned as Deputy Wing Commander of the 6th Fighter Wing until she was reassigned as the Aerospace Group Commander at Starbase Vanguard.
