[OLD]
"Proximity alert. Vessel is going too fast." The computer noted. Nightingale was concerned by the fact that the computer almost sounded sarcastic.
"How close do we have to be to set off a Proximity alert?" Nightingale asked.
"Five meters above ground-" The computer stopped.
Namely because the shuttle's tail end impacted with the landing deck, causing the shuttle to flip.
[NEW]
The pilot was buckled in. Nightingale had remembered enough of flight school to do that.
It flipped again. Three times. Four. Then it made a really icky sounding screech, when it hit the wall, and tore off the tractor emitter that was supposed to prevent this kind of thing.
Nightingale was suspended upside down, in the pilot's chair.
"Medical Emergency." She muttered, as she looked down at at least three separate parts of her no longer unconscious husband. "Please. Somebody. Send. Doctor."
[Sliver]
"That's one way to land a shuttle..." Geri quipped as she could barely contain her laughter watching the craft tumble into the bay. "Vincent if you could please execute a better landing then our friends I would be most grateful."
Bauer scoffed shaking his head. The group had just been re-assigned from the USS Vanguard for her antics and yet it seemed Geri had not missed a beat. He was still uniformed as to what had transpired on the ship but for whatever it was the Captain found it necessary to remove them. Now they found themselves on the doormat of Starbase Protector.
A squad of Marines is full combat gear poured through the hatch into what was left of the shuttlebay, followed by a medical team.
[Sliver]
Pratt gently manuevered the shuttle into the now decimated shuttle bay. He took care not to hit the marines nor the damaged shuttle. The craft gently touched down upon the deck causing no shock to the crew within. Pratt tapped the console opening the rear hatch.
Geri purposefully stepped out onto the deck calling over the marine nearest to her. "Marine, why are the communications down? Is the station currently in distress?"
"With all due respect, Lieutenant, even if it was, it SURE AS HELL IS NOW with you shooting it up!" The Marine barked at her. "This facility is in lockdown until we find out what happened here!"
Geri stepped towards the Marine smirking at him. "Let me help you grunt. Your station was at red alert, then it went to yellow. You receive an SOS and you do not reply. So I shot the doors open with a torpedo set not to detonate merely removing your doors from the shuttles path. As your Chief Intelligence Officer it was my duty to determine the status of the station. It is not my fault the pilot over there cannot land a simple craft. Now with all due respect...marine. I am a Lieutenant and you....are not.
You've got some work to do." Geri quipped as she strode arrogantly out of the shuttle bay.
The Corporal stood there, dumbfounded, watching Geri's back. "Humph! Fleeties!" he muttered.
Klang stuck his head out of the door of the shuttle, "Eh? We're here? I told her to wake me when we got here." He looked at the marines with guns and hoped they were just here to help him move all his stuff.
[Plato/Shuttle bay wall]
"GET ME OUT. GET ME OUT. GET ME OUT." The screaming was a bit hard to miss. Nightingale had already thrown up twice. "GET ME OUT."
The translator, However was not functioning because her commbadge was smashed against a wall. In it's place was an extremely panicked sounding song coming from the shuttle. Repetitive. Annoying, even.
Bauer looked to Tatyana. "Get the universal translator." He said yelling over the shrieking.
Tatyana obliged rushing over to the shuttle and grabbing the device. She looked to the Klingon whom the L.T always referred to as an appliance. She thought he was remarkable in both overcoming his physical ailments and choosing the path of doctor over warrior.
"Doctor. Shuttle over there crashed. My guess is you are Chief Medical Officer here. Communications in station down they may need medical attention." she said before walking out of the shuttle setting up the device trying to decipher what was being said.
"GET ME OUT." Nightingale yelled, this time in English. The high pitched accent to her voice did nothing to negate the annoying tone of the request.
Klang ignored the marines mostly after that, ignoring the patient who was so brutally dismembered in the crash that even Q wouldn't be able to save him. Pulling a wicked looking short blade from his belt buckle, he made short work of the 4 piece harness and caught the patient, gently lowering them to the deck.
Upon contact with the woman's EV suit, Klang was quickly drenched in water. Nightingale didn't have the mental capacity to apologize. She just sat there, the gills on her neck opening and closing quickly, as though she was hyperventilating.
"Lev." She whispered into her suit. The translator caught her words, and translated the depressed, short, song. "He's..." she looked up at the man who had gotten her out of the shuttle. "Uhm. Thank you."

Jerika turned to DeSalle. "Sir, communications are back online. No explanation."
Marcus absorbed the information. "Open a channel," was all he said.
"Incoming message from the Anubis" She turned to the Colonel. "They found a person in the computer."
"Patch me through," he said, incredulous.
"It's voice only, sir."
Corsino and a team of security officers arrived in Operations, "What in the name of all that is holy is going on?" he asked anyone that would answer.
Marcus looked at the security officer. "Stand down, Corsino, but stand by. We're ascertaining that now."
"Aye, Sir." was Corsino's only response. He was uneasy with the situation, but would of course follow orders.
The disheveled woman in her aquatic environmental suit stepped out of the turbolift. She was limping. And wincing. And clearly upset about something. She looked at DeSalle. "Not. Drake." She mumbled. Then her head cleared, a little, and she came to something akin to attention. "Colonel." She said, largely on auto-pilot.
He glanced at her, then did a double-take. "Sick bay, now," he said simply. "Formalities later, when you're up to it."
He turned back to the comms console. "Anubis, what's your situation?"
=A= This is Karikkar. We are here sir. =A= Tallus said over the COMM line.
=A= Lieutenant Rynn asks that you please send a doctor over. =A= Tallus said as he got lightheaded. =A= Make that two doctors Colonel. =A= Tallus said as he fell over losing consciousness. The injury that he had suffered earlier was worse than Tallus was letting on.
"Medical! Get over there ASAP!" Marcus barked. Turning his attention back to the open line, he said, "What's this about a person aboard? Sensors indicated no life forms."
There was no response from Tallus.
"Sickbay. Aye sir." The woman said, largely not paying attention to the events around her. She just turned about, and wandered off to the turbolift.
