Jessie and Kyle

Jessie had got home from school and her mother and Kyle and Brian werent there. That worried her a little bit as they were nearly always there at least her mom and Kyle, although Brian had been there a couple of times as well. Settling down to do her homework she had started to feel like something was wrong so she said =/=Computer? Please locate Major Treia and Major Green?=/=

=/=Major Green is on the bridge ... Major Treia is unable to be located.=/=

Standing up she asked '=/=Computer? Where is the bridge?=/= Taking in the information she headed off towards Major Green hoping he knew what was happening with her mom.

Entering the bridge 20 minutes later she looked round for her mom's other mate "Daddy?"

Kyle heard the little girl and said, "Jessie, Im not your dad, but whats wrong? The bridge is no place for a child."

She nodded "I know but mom says I should be polite and I wasnt sure what to call you ... Mom's missing ... the computer cant find her." She bit the side of her thumb nervously.

Kyle said, "Okay when did you last see her? We could start there."

Kyle asked, "Computer what was the last known location of Major Treia?"

"Before school ... Mom said she and Uncle Dev had to do that thing with the visiting diplomats but she would be home after school ... and ... and she hasnt left a message or anything!"

Kyle asked, "Who is Uncle Dev?" He then grapped a type two phaser and appointed a Lieutenant to take command if he left.

"Mom's second in command ... he's not here neither." Jess was getting really worried.

Kyle said, "You mean Lieutenant Kell. Lets go to the diplomat area. You need to be careful oaky?" Kyle made his way to a turbolift

Jessie nodded and held onto his non shooting hand "I promise."

Kyle thought of all the people this little girl came to him. He wondered why and asked, "Jessie, you could gone to anyone, why me?"

Looking thoughtful she said "Momma trusts you ... I can count on one hand how many momma trusts ... You, Auntie Nyx, Uncle Dev, and 'bassador Brian."

Kyle was honored and said, "Can you take me to mommy's office?"

Nodding she led him to her mommy's door and opened it with him lifting her up to the pad. "Momma keeps her diary of stuff on the computer."

Kyle said, "I don't want to invade your privacy I just want to know what she planned for the day. Can you access her last official report?"

"Yeah." She brought it up and frowned "It looks like it was while they were meeting the ambassadors?" She listened to it with Kyle and looked at him in confusion "Why some one kidnap 'bassador Brian? He's nice."

Kyle knew what he had to do. Kyle said, "Jessie, stay here and don't move I am going after your mother." On that note Kyle set his phaser to maximum stun and headed out the door.

Nodding Jessie sat in the chair after locking the door so only someone mom trusted could get in.
