So, thanks for the recent debate on saluting - I found it interesting and a bit of an eye opener getting other viewpoints on it. Going forward, I think we'll drop Google Group and it clearly just doesn't work properly! We'll find a new forum for any further discussions.

I think the consensus was a NO to saluting but a YES to standing to attention, given the proper occasion. I think we'll probably be doing it less than the modern day military do, but using it nevertheless.
