Title of current mission: A Good Day to Hunt
Description of current mission: Life proceeds as usual on Starbase 109. In nearby space, a freighter with four Exo-Comps aboard fights a deadly battle with some Klingons, and ambassadors try to reach a peace deal among three squabbling planetary leaders.

Number of posts (as shown on the stats page in Nova): 19 (18 mission posts plus one personal log).
Post per player (user) average (as shown on the stats page in Nova): 1.27

Noteworthy changes/events on your sim during the preceding month: The (off-screen) departures of Voareth Darqaron and Criswell Sandbags from the sim. Other characters they encountered will gradually realize that they haven’t been seen in a while.

Noteworthy Milestones this Month:
Nate (Sipov Boros) has been with us for one year, already! Has it really been that long?

Problems (if any) that the command staff should be aware of: In October, we lost players Brad and CF because of one’s military deployment and the other’s busy sim participation elsewhere. This has been rather jarring, as we were anticipating some action/adventure plots with them. That and real-life events in the Command Team’s lives (death in family, chronic illness, and change in school term, heavy workload at work) have caused a reduction in Command Team activity.

Post of the Month nomination and reason: Ruth, for Circular Thinking, a lovely, introspective post on the inner workings of Makila I’Hartelhai’s mind.

Player of the Month nomination and reason: To Austen, for generally riding herd on and organization of two story-arcs, the Exo-Comps’ plot and the Milli-Cochrane plot.

Writers of the Month nomination and URL: To Austen, Susan, and Mike for “The Unlikely Savior,” parts 1 and 2. These posts are continuations of the Exo-Comps’ story.
Part 1 and Part 2

Respectfully submitted
By the SB-109 Command Team
