Hello, Award Winning Crew!
For December, SB109 was the TGCO Award of Merit winner for Task Force 51-B. Yay!
We had no Fourth Quarter Awards.
We did win this for the Year Awards:
CO of the Year: Three Ladies of SB109
These lovely ladies (Jenny, Chantal, and Susan) are strong writers who are actively involved in all aspects of the sim, from behind-the-scenes story development to in character support to encouraging some great stories. All three of them help make the sim the place for diverse story arcs and camaraderie.
Writer of the Year: Nikki, Starbase 109
Nikki joined Starbase 109 with an interesting character concept. She helped create the Brown Sector and did several great solo posts. Now she’s including other characters and developing a wider net of story arcs and possibilities.
Congratulations to all of you who make this sim such a special place to write. You are all award winners in our command book.

Thank you to everyone who has been reading along my ramblings since this past Summer 2020. Thanks out to who ever was involved in the fleet review of posts. I'm sure there were many other deserving individuals. Of all the recognition I've had while simming, this Writer of the Year recognition is a first in any fleet for me. I celebrated by buying myself a silver charm. I started buying myself small charms for awards I recieved since this summer, and I put them on like talismans when I sit down to write. I hope that doesn't sound to prideful. It's a little like I get to wear your votes of confidence. I just treasure that there are others out there who I can share the joy of storytelling with, both reading your work and contributing to the strorytelling. Thank you to everyone who is reading and to everyone who has urged me on or shared their little delights.

I think that's a lovely idea, Nikki! It never hurts to have a little extra inspiration when we write!
