For those of you who have simmed with me before, you know I enjoy giving out awards... usually at the end of each mission. So, why not carry on with the tradition!

I am pleased to announce that, following the completion of Vanguard's first mission; some players have earned the Commissioning Ribbon.

Now, James and I had a bit of a debate about who should be receiving this - the criteria states: 'Awarded to all individuals that actively participate in a ship’s Shakedown Mission'. We decided that, to be eligible, you had to have had an active part to play in the shakedown mission... meaning some of the newer players didn't qualify. We thought that if we didn't take this approach it might dilute the specialness and uniqueness of this award.

Therefore, I am pleased to announce that the following crew have received the Commissioning Ribbon:
Lieutenant Commander Zachary Hunt
Lieutenant Commander Chlamydia Addams
Jade Lantz
Lieutenant Jasmine Collins
Lieutenant Paul Graves
Lieutenant Ricardo Shepard
Lieutenant Sianna Dal

I would also like to recognise the following players, for bringing to life and creating an often-overlooked department, with the Captain's Honor Award:
Captain Brooklyn Wellington
Warrant Officer Moklor of the House Karn

Next, I'd like to take a moment to really appreciate the incredibly detailed, colourful and vibrant NPC"s that have been created on Vanguard. For me, a few really do stick out in the crowd. I would like to recognise the following players for their talent in creating NPC's with the Non-Player Character Ribbon:
Jade Lantz
Lieutenant Commander Chlamydia Addams
Lieutenant Paul Graves

Finally, a special thanks for James who has tirelessly worked on getting this site back to it's former glory, not to mention the amazing Christmas theme he has made for us! This is the Distinguished Volunteer Award:
Lieutenant Commander Zachary Hunt
