October Theta Fleet Awards

Hello, most excellent crew in the fleet!

Theta Fleet has announced awards for October. It will come as no surprise that SB109 is in 2nd place behind Hera, bringing home the Silver Unit of Distinction Award for Area 51. I like being able to maintain that position, but one day, we'll get back into gold, I'm sure. This award is based on statistics for the sims.

Writer of the Month for Area 51 was a tie between Dee, of Hera, and Mike of ... SB109! Congratulations, Mike! His nomination read: Mike writes often and creatively. He's willing to sim with a large variety of characters in a wide choice of settings. He creates imaginative plot arcs and action adventures.

Post of the Month for Area 51 was another tie, this time between a post on USS Tokyo and Ruth here on SB109. If you haven't read Ruth's post, you missed a great one! Congratulations, Ruth! Her nomination read: Ruth for her post "Growth Isn't All in the Garden". Her character is dealing with emotional trauma and realizing that there are many things to think about besides his broken heart. He's picking up the pieces, in more ways than one. It's a finely crafted, moving depiction of the angst of heartbreak and grief. Post 1359
