Title of current mission: A Diplomatic Affair
Description of current mission: The Besm, a Federation protectorate world, set up an enclave aboard SB109 as a study for how to establish a colony of their own off-world. But unexpected guests crash the party.
Short summary of mission progress during the month: We're getting really, really close to something that kind of sorta resembles progress on what I think the mission is?

Noteworthy event on your sim during the month: Mike / Dallas Briggs quit. And then came back. Boo. Yay!

Additional Comments:
Early in the year, Charlie entered us in the Tournament of Simulations, and when I asked about the judges' feedback, I got vague handwaving and a promise to forward the notes. I still haven't received them, and we'd rather like to; we'd like to improve and not just maintain the status which is quo.
Writer of the Month Nomination and reason: Chantal / Paul Graves. Chantal keeps more balls in the air and does it with more grace than just about anyone else I can think of. Without Chantal, there would very literally not be a Starbase 109.
Player of the Month Nomination and reason: Also Chantal. Chantal is the third leg of our command triad, and looking back over the Posts of July, I find that most of them were instigated by, participated in, and guided back to something resembling the main plotline, by Chantal.

Thank you for the nominations, Jenny. I couldn't do it, though, without everyone else in this wonderful sim. There is not a single person in this group who I don't love writing with, and that is what makes 109 so good. :)
