Sudden Departures and Continuations

Dear Crew--As you may have noticed if you've seen our crew manifest, Captain Navarra is no longer CO of SB-109. This is a friendly departure, as Navarra/Brandon will now be commanding the USS Samurai, which is fully repaired and will be leaving drydock. We wish him well and hope he has much success in his new venture! The Nomad, as Brandon's creation, will be working with Samurai from now on. Brandon, I believe, intends to keep one character on SB-109. I have hopes that we can do joint missions in the future with Samurai's crew.

This means there will be changes in the command structure. I will likely be taking over as official CO if we don't get an applicant in very short order. If I do, Paul Graves will depart, as it wouldn't be right for me to be CO and hold a department head position, AND be second officer. Not cool.

We are now officially accepting applications for XO and second officer. I'll need a couple of days to decide whether I will take on the CO role or keep Paul as Chief Counselor. In the meantime, Paul will be acting CO.
