Title of current mission: A Good Day to Hunt (Will end May 2.)
Description of current mission: Various people are hunting for various things. Kiara Lena, Dallas Briggs, Ambassador T’Vala, and Consul Daeren Iril are hunting for the person seeking to wreak havoc at diplomatic proceedings on Helicon III. Isabella Perry is hunting for people to crew her ship, the Nomad. Ambassador t’Saeihr, Maiek s’Ethien, and Mary Elizabeth Gregory are hunting for ways to hold a Terran-Romulan wedding and perhaps wage peace at the same time. Four exo-comps are hunting for a way to keep themselves and their crew alive when their ship is boarded by Klingons.

Noteworthy changes/events on your sim during the preceding month: Cats are being herded by 1/3 of the command team. We did not submit a report for March because command team member was ill. Post count was way down in March and April.
Noteworthy Milestones this Month: Artyom Mikhailov—almost three years! I have also nominated five people for awards because they have written 100 and, in one case, 200 posts for Starbase 109. Another player has written 405 posts, but we don’t have an award for that. :P
Problems (if any) that the command staff should be aware of: Part of our command team underwent surgery in February and is likely to be laid up for much of the spring. We are keeping her in our thoughts and prayers. Another member of the command team was ill during March and part of April. Doing better now. As of today, the command team is back up to being mostly active.
Post of the Month nomination and reason: To Austen and Mike for The Unlikely Savior, Part 3. This was an intense combat post, very well written, which gives readers a vivid sense of the two very different individuals fighting.
Player of the Month nomination and reason: To Mike for taking the lead on a series of joint posts that is currently being written. Players taking initiative and then planning and writing their characters’ plots is something that we would like to see more of, especially when the activity centers around life on the starbase.
Writer of the Month nomination and URL: To Ruth, for her exquisite writing of Romulan characters in What Choices We Make. Ambassador t’Saeihr, Maiek s’Ethien, and Mary Elizabeth Gregory discuss how to plan a wedding with Terran and Romulan elements.
