Title of current mission: A Good Day to Hunt
Description of current mission: Life proceeds as usual on Starbase 109. The Addams sisters plot for Experiment Number Six’s Sabre Mazurka, a cherished family rite of passage. A spider-like sensory device is found and demolished in Brown Sector. Renato takes the issue up with Commander Graves. Graves and Lt. Cmdr. Eberstark discuss the criminal recently apprehended in Brown Sector and whether they think Renato Solis is helpful to have around. Elsewhere in space, ambassadors gather at a diplomatic reception. Is treachery about to be unmasked? Only time will tell.

Problems (if any) that the command staff should be aware of: Part of our command team underwent surgery in February and is likely to be laid up for much of the spring. We are keeping her in our thoughts and prayers.

Post of the Month nomination and reason: A Reception of Sorts, Part 2: https://sb109.sim-station.net/index.php/sim/viewpost/1956. This is part of a much longer plot-thread concerning skullduggery on a planet in which possession of a natural resource is being disputed by three parties.

Player of the Month nomination and reason: To Mike and Charlene for their work on the diplomatic plot.

The post presents an intriguing problem, some nice tension, some foreshadowing of future events, and the fascinating observation that the little mechanical devices are not the only unwelcome pests to be found on Starbase 109…. :D
