Theta Fleet Awards--And Quarterly Awards!

I was not expecting the Theta Fleet Awards to be as awesome as they turned out to be! I had in fact completely forgotten that June was Quarterly Awards month. So, glorious and gracious crew, here are our results for June's Theta Fleet Awards and for the Theta Fleet quarterly awards.

First, we were tied for the Bronze Unit of Distinction award for posting during June in Area 51. We shared this honor with the USS Ontario.

Post of the Month was awarded to Austen, Susan, and Mike for “Who’s the Hero Now? Part Two” (http://sb109.thetafleet.net/index.php/sim/viewpost/1897), starring the Exo-Bots, Miarau Merel, and Capt. Jason Harrington. Well done, all of you! That really has been a page-turner of a story-arc.

Starbase 109 was also given the TGCO Award of Merit for June in Area 51-B.

But that's not all. For the second quarter of 2021, Starbase 109 also received...

The sim started out as the brainchild of another player, but when he stepped away, these three ladies decided the sim was too much fun to abandon. And so, they have continued to keep it going, focusing on character and multiple story arcs rather than one overriding mission. It gives everyone on the sim a chance to develop their characters in different ways and to have their own adventures on and around the starbase. Each lady takes a part of the job and all work together to make this a fun place to write.

Color me gobsmacked. That's all I can say. We could not do what we do without the work that all of you put into this amazing sim. I think it's been five years since Jamie resurrected our sim from the earlier Starbase Protector, I think, and we're still here, going strong today. That would not be possible without your efforts. A command team with no followers is just three crazy ladies brainstorming ideas about Star Trek together. All of you are what keep us going. All of you are what make Starbase 109 a wonderful place to write in. We cannot thank you enough for being part of this wild ride with us.
