August Fleet Awards

Hello, Crew!

I have been remiss in reading the Theta Fleet News! In my absence, awards for August were given out, and we did win some, as follows.

Unit of Distinction: Area 51: Bronze - tied with USS Tokyo. Considering how many posts we wrote (90), this means the whole fleet was up higher in posting for August! We are at 51 for September, and I know lots are in progress.

Post of the Month: Austen (Renato Solis and the Exo-Comps)

Austen wrote (and Susan proofread, but didn't contribute creatively, so is not nominated) a wonderful series, Brave Little Toasters. It's a 3-part series, well worth the time to read it all.

TGCO Award of Merit for Area 51:B

Congratulations, once again, for a job well done for August! The awards are nice, but whether we win those or not, in my book, every writer on our sim is a winner. You work hard to write interesting and engaging story lines, you work well with one another, and you continue to produce quality writing and ideas. Thank you for simming with SB109!
