It's that time of month, and we have new awards to announce. Once again, we bring home the Silver Unit of Distinction for Area 51. I'm quite pleased to maintain our space, even with the holiday that we had.
For Player of the Month, the honor is shared between the entire crew of USS Musashi nominated together and Joe, who sims Andrew Eberstark. Joe's nomination read: Joe is one of those players who never pushes himself to the front but is constantly filling a supporting role. Whatever is asked, he performs with distinction. Whether you want a touch of romance, a little intrigue, an engineering problem solver, Joe can handle himself with poise and confidence. Without him, we couldn't function nearly as well.
Our final November award is for Task Force 51-B TCGO Award of Merit.
Congratulations to all of you. Awards demand the best from the entire crew, even though one of us may be singled out now and then. Thank you for all you do on the sim.
Other awards for November included:
Longevity Awards:
6 months with SB109: LTJG Artyom Mikhailov (Rob Beatty)
Sim Awards:
Writer of the Month Nomination and reason: Commander Chlamydia Addams - Jenny has come back from her ELOA and hit the books hard in November, posting 7 times, and contributing a great deal of humor to the sim. Her characters are always a pleasure, in a JP and to read.
Post of the Month Nomination (and URL): Planning to Peel the Onion (https://sb109.thetafleet.net/index.php/sim/viewpost/1421) This joint post among those involved in the interrogation of Zelda Alegari included several players, moved the plot along, and had great humor. All the players played off each other well and decisions were actually made. Each player involved wins the award for November.
