The desolate ship, I could take. The dead crew, I could take. Even the loss of Crewman Meadows, I could take. However, what I have just seen in Sickbay has nearly pushed me over the edge. It looks as though the former Chief Medical Officer of the Bretagne, was tortured and strung up in Sickbay... perhaps as a warning to others.
I still find it hard to believe that Starfleet Officers performed such actions. There simply has to be another explanation.
On the remaining emergency power, I managed to pull up his Service Record and I can't help but draw similarities between him and I. We were both about the same age with very similar service history's... with the exception that his was centred around medicine and mine was very much the opposite. He was a full Commander and so was I. He had, seemingly, dedicated his whole being to Starfleet... as had I.
Despite the comparisons he could extrapolate could also be said for many different officers and really meant nothing, he seemed hung up on them and couldn't shake them from his head. Why... he didn't know. All he knew is that something was starting to feel wrong... something was starting to feel horribly wrong.
