The Hangman's Noose Tavern & Inn, Deck 610

The Hangman's Noose Tavern & Inn is located on Deck 610 of the Promenade. Owner Mary Elizabeth Gregory has created it to emulate the old-fashioned style of her family's 700 year-old pub located in Kent, England on Earth. See the menu

She has designed the main taproom as an homage to the sort of medieval tavern typically found in Earth-style fantasy role-playing games, and the establishment's motto is, "All the best adventures start in a tavern!"

It is common to see D&D-style games being played in the tavern on weekends or whenever anyone feels like starting a game. Visitors will find polished wood settees, benches, and tables, artificial candles, exposed wooden ceiling beams, pewter tankards and plates, wooden trenchers, freshly-baked grainy beer-bread with cinnamon honey-butter to spread on it, along with a wide variety of beers, wines, and well drinks.

The taproom menu is hearty, with stick-to-your-ribs English pub favorites made from scratch. Nothing on the taproom menu is replicated unless required for dietary needs.

To the left of the main taproom, as you enter from the front door, is a modern restaurant that caters to the busy traveler of today, with e-menus, payment by PADD, and a cocktail menu, along with an eclectic food menu designed for modern tastes.

The Inn entrance is separate from the Tavern entrance. A staircase of polished wood leads upward for two stories above the tavern and restaurant, each story being comprised of ten guest rooms and one suite.
