Alexia wandered into the office way in the back of the Veruna spa. The handsome designer for her spa was sitting back there working on a drawing for another building he wasn't directly in charge of. He was awfully talented, and she admired what he was working on for a moment before asking the question that was on her mind. "Is there a way to make the pool's water more like the Fosse Dionne?"
The Ramatan man looked puzzled for a moment, pulled a PADD out of his back pocket and pulled up some imagery of the Fosse Dionne. His face changed, as he mouthed the words he was reading. An intrigued look crossed his face, then a contemplative one as he thought about what she was asking. Licking his lips he nodded slowly in response to her actual questioning, so she wouldn't get impatient and ask again. "Ah, lovely imagery, and also a fascinating story..."
Alexia raised her eyebrows, hoping he might illuminate her further. She wasn't actually familiar with the story of the spring, only that its unique look still drew people from all over the galaxy. She was doing surprisingly good business here, but she could always stand to improve her business.
"It's got a bunch of ancient legends. I love a good legend, for sure. It Especially as no-one has been able to determine where the spring that feeds the pools and waterfalls I am sure we can infuse minerals into the water, and the color changing component, we can replicate with Lighting inside the pool itself. I don't think we should change the concentration of the water minerals enough that it acutally changes the colors. I can construct the same sort of setup, where the waterfalls fill different pools, if you'd like. "
"Do you think it would change the feel of the area?"
"Well yes, of course it would. However..." He trailed off for a moment and pulled up the plans of the Spa Pools as they were now. He highlit a portion of the grounds that was under-developed. Then he began to sketch with his stylus. "We could run this pool cascade down the back here..." He lit up another portion of the grounds " If you expand that direction that would leave the feel of the springs here alone, and also give you the sort of thing you want. You'd have to mark a new path, and add it to the database but that's simple enough done."
"Yes...I see what you mean." Her fingers stroked over the PADD and her smile was soft. "I like it."
"Good. That would also give you the option of changing the pools mineral concentration, for each species that wishes to use the pools if they book in advance enough to inform you of their creature comforts."
"That is a terrible phrase. " Her emphasis on the word that made it sound like a dirty word, as she turned to Jaryl and glared at him hands on her hips. She couldn't help but think he was right, and the idea of having species book in advance to change the water to best fit their needs was a genius move.
"Tell me it's not accurate" Jaryl simply smirked back at him, his silvery eyes dancing with amusement.
Alexia made a dismissive pfft sound from behind her teeth and tapped the stylus she had to her lips. She wasn't going to admit it outright. "Its still a horrible phrase. It implies that those looking to enjoy themselves are creatures. It's impolite at best, and downright insulting at worst. "
