First Day Problems

Wow! What an awful day! Drake has pretty much just left and Vanguard is falling apart. I had a major problem I dealt with regarding the auxiliary control centre...the whole centre went down. Why? Dodgy wiring!!! I hate to think how the wiring is for the rest of the base. This hasn't been the only problem, I've been told about 15 separate problems so far. I also hate to think how many other problems I haven't even been told about. The quicker we can get Vanguard up to scratch, the better! I've met more of the crew today in certain departments and they make me feel at ease. Amongst all the problems there seems to be a buzz of excitement around of what can be achieved on Vanguard in the future. Well, if Vanguard actually makes it that far at this rate, but I feel confident the crew will do their best.

On a positive note, I met Lieutenant Coco Kiralbi. Who thought I would have crossed paths with her again so soon after meeting her in the gym. I'm pleased she was about today with all the commotion that was happening, a friendly face...well a face I actually recognised. It was nice to see and fairly soothing. Maybe not the same way for her though!

Anyway, only a short log today, I need to go and chill for a bit before tomorrow. I'm wary of what tomorrow holds after today. I hope Drake and co are doing well, it seems weird but I feel like I've been acquainted with Drake before, I've only known him five minutes! Maybe it's the reputation he holds. The only reason I'm here is because of Drake and Starfleet, maybe that is the real reason why I feel like that. He's going to be a tough one to crack into though! Anyway, as I was saying....time to chill! I believe Orchids & Jazz is in order!
