Seriously, what kind of cellist forgets to change his cello strings? One who's used to playing on a holographic instrument.

An incompetent one, in my opinion, and I am so paying the price for it. Gah! I am furious with myself; I could have badly damaged my cello.

This is what I get for constructing a holoprogram of me playing ACDC's "Thunderstruck" with 2Cellos and using my real instrument in the program. Guys who played so hard, they would typically fray their bowstrings at each performance should have been a clue to me.

So now, I'm sitting here in Sickbay, waiting for someone to treat the cut and hellacious bruise on my left hand. I might have a broken or sprained finger or two, as well; they are swollen something fierce.

In other news, I've decided to ask Muffet Langston out to dinner. I like her. She's wonderful company and intelligent as heck. (Is heck intelligent?) I wonder if Orchids & Jazz can accommodate? Or maybe she'd prefer somewhere else.

Hey, the worst she can do is say no, right?
