A Character Change

Dear Crew,

One thing we can always count on in life is change. For more than a decade, I’ve had Jade Lantz as my primary character, running Orchids & Jazz, an exclusive up-scale restaurant and club. It’s been fun and a joy to be her, and tell some of her stories. She’s made many friends over the years, and done a lot of good in her world.

Now I feel it’s time for a change. Change is coming to SB109, and I find I don’t want to be a part of all of it in the same way I have been. So … Orchids & Jazz is closing, and Jade will be turning out the lights, leaving for earth and new opportunities. I’m retiring her character completely,

I will have a ONE POST goodbye. If you’d like to be part of it, let me know in a PM, and I’ll tag you in for a one-or-two-sentence interaction. There will only be one part, and it will be less than 2000 words, probably around the 1500 mark. Then there may be a reflection post of Jade alone, the lights go out, and we move on without her. That affects everyone who is a co-worker at Orchids & Jazz, as well.

My primary character will be moving to Dr. Elizabeth Anderson, because she still has a story to tell and it might take a little while.

Thank you for some wonderful interactions with Jade and her staff over the years.
