Title of current mission: A Good Day to Hunt
Description of current mission: Groups of crew members continue to deal with several issues--Diplomats and assassins, Exo-Comps and Klingons, appraitions in Brown Sector.

Noteworthy changes/events on your sim during the month: We are continuing with various story arcs, including the Exo-Comps, the Briggs-Lena-Krell assassination plot, which will tie in with the Helicon III plot, the Milli-Cochrane Plot, and the Aradia Plot. The Dobbs plot is proceeding slowly. Our new Hirogen (El-Aurian) character, Voareth, has gotten into a bit of trouble while trying to kill the Ferengi Poark. She gets unexpected help. Brown Sector is being searched from top to bottom in hopes of finding whoever is causing the strange, screaming apparitions. The residents there don’t like it one bit. Aradia continues her investigation of the Addams family and strikes up an acquaintance with Damion Ildaran along the way. The crew of the Antero do battle with the Klingon H’tek’s crew. Lt. Commanders Briggs and Lena are close to learning who sent an assassin after Lena. Lt. Claire Minelan investigates a yucky sludge growing in a hydroponics bay. Romances continue, but they are low-key this month.

Noteworthy Milestones this Month:
Jasmine Keller (Lily) has been in various incarnations of this sim for just shy of nine years!
Chlamydia Addams (Jenny) and Henry Perry (Brandon) have been with the sim for nearly five years.
Baro Alora (Christina) has been with us for four years.

Problems (if any) that the command staff should be aware of: The command team has been dealing with illness, medical treatment, and increased real-life workload. This has slowed the command team’s activity, though we are stepping in when we can. Every once in a while, there is a lovely surprise of several posts to respond to. We’re plugging away.

Post(s) of the Month nomination and reason: Ruth (Lt. Minelan) for Contain the Spread. Why? Because it’s Star Trekky. It deals with a problem that could conceivably happen on the starbase if SB109 were real.

Player of the Month nomination and reason: Mike and Charlene for collaborating on what has become a lengthy story-arc that is both enjoyable and also written relatively quickly. I wish I could be so speedy with the Dobbs plot. (I really, really wish I could!)

Writer of the Month nomination and URL: Brad for all of his Voareth posts. Voareth is an extremely memorable character; her personality shines through in every post in which she appears. Here’s a sample: A Time to K…Abort
