Title of current mission: Denouement
Description of current mission:

The mission title refers to the long sought-for mission to apprehend Adm. Adrian Dobbs and to stop his reign of scientific terror. But there are other denouements, such as the adventures of Daggerbeard the Pirate, the courtship of Maiek Sethien and Mary Elizabeth Gregory, and Kellian Michaels’ and Muffet Langston’s date at Orchids and Jazz.

Short summary of mission progress during the month: Several story arcs are opening as others are closing out.

What have you done this month to change your sim? Started a new mission. The sim characters are taking on lives of their own, and many people are collaboratively writing the stories!

Noteworthy event on your sim during the month:

• Ambassadors T’Vala and Daeren Iril and their aides depart to negotiate diplomatic talks between disputing parties in the absence of Lt. Commander Kiara Lena.
• Dr. Addams reads Lt. Ildaran in on parts of the Dobbs situation that he was not previously aware of.
• Strange, terrifying apparitions appear and disappear throughout Brown Sector. Renato Solis is on the case, but the Brown Sector Sheriff’s Department kind of wishes he weren’t.
• The Addams family holds another Halloween Party. Full Disclosure, anyone?
• The Exo-Comps settle into their new home—which is pleasant but a bit boring.
• Dr. Yuliette Marayan, aka Neone, continues her new life in Brown Sector.

Ship Awards given during the month: The following awards were approved by the command team:

* Doyle Mystery Award to Austen, aka Renato Solis, for the “Milli-Cochrane Caper” story arc.
* Montgomery Scott Engineering Award for A Departmental Matter, Part 2 - Awarded to Christina and Susan for writing about Operations personnel doing a spacewalk to repair the station’s exterior. I like this because it shows Starfleet personnel doing normal tasks that are necessary on a starbase. Too often, this kind of routine activity is ignored.
* The Warrior’s Soul Award for One on the Chin - To Aaron as Radak, for writing a convincing bare-knuckles boxing match, lost on purpose.
* Departmental Distinction Award-Science Not So To Chlamydia Addams/Jenny for the outstanding scientific knowledge that Jenny the writer brings to Chlamydia the character in all of her posts.

Additional Comments:

Writer of the Month Nomination and reason: Austen, for writing two story arcs—Renato Solis’ “Milli-Cochrane Caper” and the continuing adventures of the four Exo-Comps.

Player of the Month Nomination and reason: To Mike/LTCDR Dallas Briggs, for his overall support of the sim and for drawing a variety of players into his posts.
